Fabulous Fun Folds

I'm a suckered for fun folds, especially those that create a "Wow!" without being too difficult. These three cards fit this description. Use what you have, or try some new products to build on what you have. These can be used for any occasion or celebration. So, get creative!

Portrait Pop Out Front Panel

(Inspired by Julie Gilson)

#1 Color Cardstock:

8 1/4" X 5 1/2"; score in landscape at 1", 2", 3" & 4"

4 1/2" X 3 3/4"; score in landscape at 3" & 4"

#2 Color Cardstock:

5 1/4" X 3 1/8"

5 1/4" X 3/4"

2 3/4" X 3 1/2"

(Back of card, if desired: 5 1/4" X 4", or just use white/vanilla)

Designer Series Paper (DSP)-same or different pattern:

5" X 3"

5" X 5/8"

White/Vanilla Cardstock:

2 5/8" X 3 3/8"

(Back of card: 5 1/4" X 4" if no matter layer, or 5" X 3 3/4" with mat layer)

Scrap cardstock for punched/die cut pieces

Hidden Slider Fun Fold

#1 Cardstock:

5 1/4" X 8 1/2"; score in landscape at 2 3/4" & 6 3/4"

3 3/4" X 4 1/4"; score in portrait at 3/8"

#2 Cardstock:

4 1/4" X 5 1/2" (base)

2 5/8" X 5 1/8" (X 2)

1 5/8" X 5 1/8"

Designer Series Paper (DSP):

2 1/2" X 5" (X 2)

3 3/4" X 5"

2" X 3 1/4" (die cut with Everyday Arch)

1/2" X 3" (for inside on white/vanilla piece)

White/Vanilla Cardstock:

3" X 4"

3 1/4" X 4 1/2" (die cut with Everyday Arch)

Interlocking Double Gatefold

#1 Color Cardstock:

8 1/2" X 11"; cut in portrait at 3"--this creates 5 1/2" X 11" & 8" X 11". Score the 5 1/2" piece in landscape at 1 1/2", 3 1/2", 7 1/2" and 9 1/2". Cut the 3" piece in landscape at 10 5/8", and the score in landscape at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", 6 3/8", and 8 1/2".

#2 Color Cardstock:

1 7/8" X 2 3/4" ( X 5)

White/Vanilla Cardstock:

1 3/4" X 5 1/4", score in landscape at 2 5/8"

1 3/4" X 2 5/8"

5 1/4" X 4" (for back if desired)

Designer Series Paper:

5 1/4" X 12"--cut in landscape at 3 3/4, 1 3/4" (X 2), 1 1/4" (X 2), and 1 1/8" (X 2)--pay attention to direction of the Paper, and if you want a different design than the reverse of the DSP you are cutting, cut the 1 3/4" & 1 1/8" strips from another design by 5 1/4" tall.
