Spring Forward and Share with Others

There are so many fresh products in the January-June 2022 mini catalog from Stampin' Up! One of the first bundles I wanted to get was the Flowering Tulips. My dad's favorite flowers were red tulips. This bundle inspired some cards that I made to share.

Idea from Mary Fish, Independent Demonstrator, CASED from her project.
Idea from Linda Heller, Independent Demonstrator, Card Front above and Inside Pop Out below.

This is my attempt at a card by Jo Blackman, Independent Demonstrator.

Slimline cards seem to be one of the in things right now, and I wanted to learn how to make these. The card below was inspired by Independent Demonstrator Manda Moore. This card used the Blessings of Home stamp set, Lovely You stamp set and Lovely You Pick a Punch.
Card:

  • 8 ½” X 7” Basic Gray cardstock; score in portrait at 3 ½”
  • 8 ¼” X 3 ¼” Basic Black cardstock
  • 8 ¼” X 3 ¼” Basic White cardstock (inside)
  • 8” X 3” Basic White cardstock
  • 3” X 1” Basic Gray or Basic Black cardstock (label); punch one end with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
Envelope:

  • 8 ½” X 11” DSP or Cardstock; score in landscape at 1 ½” and 10 ½”, turn to portrait and score at 2 ½” and 6 ½”

Check out the video for instructions.

The next card is one that I'd been wanting to make for quite awhile. Some of the more Avid stampers would appreciate putting this one together since it has some complexity. This was inspired by Jane Dooley, Independent Demonstrator, from Tracy Allen.

I used Daisy Lane stamp set, as well as retired set Daisy Delight, and Poppy Moments dies.
