There has been so many new ideas shared by other Demonstrators, and I appreciate their creativity to draw from. My November class will share two fun folds that I derived from fellow Demonstrators using stamps, dies and papers that I had on hand.
One fun fold that I found was by Claire. I couldn't find her last name, but her website is Created the Ottaway. This is a pop out easel card. I used the designer series paper from the 2024 July-December Mini Catalog called Nests of Winter. Also used was Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Crumb Cake (retired) cardstock; Nested Essentials dies; Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-backed Berries; and Peaceful Boughs stamps & dies (retired).
Base Card:
4 1/4" X 11" color cardstock; score in landscape at 5 1/2"
4" X 5 1/4" Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Easel Stand:
4 1/4" X 4 1/2" color cardstock; score in landscape at 3/4", 1 1/2", 2 1/4" 3" and 3 3/4"
Pop Out Mechanism:
1 1/2" X 2" color cardstock; score in portrait at 3/4" (Note: this may need to be resized to fit behind the die cut piece)
Inside Card:
3 7/8" X 5 1/8" DSP
Scrap cardstock for stamped images/labels/die cuts and cutouts from DSP
Would be good to use Winterly Tree Tops bundle. You can watch my video for instructions.
The other fun fold is a Four-Fold Hinge Card by Verna Mullen. I used stamps, dies and papers that I had, and you can use this technique to create whatever you want with what you have.
