Fun Fold Sweet Treats and Peaceful Deer Christmas

I'm still working on Christmas cards to send and hand out in the place of gifts this year. Why try to fight the lack of supplies, suffer anxiety of getting things for everyone, and being rushed to do it all? I'd like to experience more calm & peace, and concentrate more on the true celebration of this holiday. There has been enough craziness over the last two years that I'd like to overcome.

The simple card was CASED from Tami White, Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator, using the Peaceful Deer bundle, Peaceful Prints designer series paper (a Sale-a-bration item that ended September 2021), and Gilded Gems.

  • 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" Cherry Cobbler cardstock; score in landscape at 4 1/4"
  • 5 1/4" X 4" Basic Black cardstock
  • 5 1/4" X 4" Basic White cardstock  (for the inside)
  • 5 1/8" X 3 7/8" designer series paper (example uses Peaceful Prints--SAB)
  • 2" (approximate) circle die cut (or punched) from Crumb Cake cardstock
  • 1/2" X 3 3/4" strip of Basic Black cardstock
  • Everyday Label punched from Basic White cardstock
  • Scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock (for deer)
  • Gilded Gems
Check out the video for instructions, and note that I forgot to add the gems on the video.

The fun fold card below is one that I've wanted to make for a long time -- a teepee or tent card, and although there are many versions out there for assembly, I decided to share the way Mary Ann Rossiter, Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator,  made hers.
I used the Sweet Treats stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and the Cloche dies (part of the Classic Cloche bundle also from the same mini)--all are retiring on January3, 2022. The designer series paper (DSP) is a retired one that I had on hand (Candy Cane Lane), but the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP would be good to use, as well as the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I also brought out the Water Color pencils, Stampin' Write markers, and Stampin' Blends for coloring the images.
  • 8" X 4" Real Red cardstock
  • 4" X 4" Real Red cardstock
  • 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" (X 2) designer series paper (example used Candy Cane Lane)
  • 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" Basic White cardstock
  • Stamped and die cut pieces from the stamp set as desired
  • Either Velcro dots or a strong mini magnet and metal washer--closure for the fun fold
