Faux Silk and Triple Panel Fun Fold

Thank you to the many Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators that share ideas and techniques to enliven paper crafting, and thanks to Stampin' Up! for great products and promotions.

The technique for this card is called Faux Silk. There are many examples shared on YouTube by many Independent Demonstrators. I used the Delicate Dahlias distinktive stamp set that can be earned as a free item with a $100 purchase of Stampin' Up! merchandise through September 2021 from the Sale-a-bration brochure. It is such a beautiful stamped 3-D stamped image.

After making these samples I watched another demonstration that stamped the outline in the same or darker color instead of black, and I liked that better.

5 1/2" X 8 1/2" color catdstock (base); score in landscape at 4 1/4"
5 1/4" X 4" coordinating cardstock
5 1/4" X 4" Basic White cardstock (inside)
5" X 3 3/4" Basic White cardstock
6" X 5" White tissue paper
Labels and embellishments as desired
The video will show the process.

The next card is a fun fold that I learned by watching France Martin, Independent Demonstrator. I think she called it a Triple Panel Double Corner Flip. I used some of the Whimsy & Wonder and Cute Halloween Designer Series Papers for these cards. I did use some retired stamp sets and dies along with the Frightfully Cute bundle for the Halloween card. There are many current sets that could be used including Peaceful Deer, Whimsical Trees, Sparkle of the Seasons. Cutest Halloween,  Little Delights, Merriest Moments and more.

This card could be displayed on a desk or shelf.

Fits medium size envelope:
5 1/2" X 10 1/2" cardstock (base); score in landscape at 3 1/2" & 7"
5 1/4" X 3 1/4" (X 2) Designer Series Paper (DSP)
1 3/4" X 1 3/4" (X 2) DSP
(If you use a colored cardstock for the base, cut a white/vanilla for the center panel at 5 1/4" X 3 1/4". You would then cut the top left corner and bottom right corner to fit.)

Larger size:
5 1/2" X 12" cardstock (base); score in landscape at 4" & 8"
5 1/4" X 3 3/4" (X 2) DSP
1 3/4" X 1 3/4" (X 2) DSP
